Jillian Noel Shennessy born November 25, 1968 in Canada is a Canadian actor and singer that was acknowledged for her contribution to American television. She was the main character in the American television series Law & Order, where she played prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three years. In Crossing Jordan she played Jordan Cavanaugh in six seasons. Hennessy was also able to showcase her acting skills in films such as RoboCop 3 Most Wanted, Chutney Popcorn, and The Acting Class. She also produced and wrote these movies. Hennessy began her career in 1988along with her sister, as twin call girls in the film Dead Ringers. The actress starred on Broadway in the musical Buddy The Buddy Holly Story in 1990. The Buddy Holly Story in 1990 before moving into the sci-fi world in 1993, playing Dr. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3. The big break for her was later in the year, when she joined the ensemble of the acclaimed NBC crime show Law & Order as assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid.
